Well it's another month and that means it's time for the next post card swap over at Chocolate Baroque and this month the choices were Marigold or Purple Heather. I chose to go down the marigold route as I didn't really have stamps that fitted either theme. Anyway here are my postcards and I hope they are ok

I'm on quite a roll now with my Christmas cards although I must make a couple of birthday cards in the next week or so and also I need to get my next set of Postcards done for the swap. However at the weekend I made this Christmas Card using a new Sue Wilson die from Creative Expressions.

On Thursday I managed to have some time to play and I was able to put together some more Christmas cards. I'd managed to get them cut out the evening before while watching the TV so i got 12 done in a fairly short amount of time. I did 6 each of these two designs. I got these from Craftsuprint a couple of years ago but had never got around to using them, I didn't know if they still do them but you can find the Craftsuprint site here

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to go to Alexandra Palace to the craft show which was great and while I was there I treated myself to the Clarity Groovi Plate starter kit. It was wonderful to watch Barbara Gray demonstrating this great piece of kit and I was really inspired by her. this is my first attempt at using it. I know its far from perfect and I need lots more practice but i did really enjoy using it

Well on Wednesday it was 100 days until Christmas (according to something I read) so I thought it was time that I started sharing my Christmas cards, not that I've made many. In fact this is the only one that is completed but I have the elements cut out for several more and so I am hoping to get on and get them made up this week.

Last Saturday was my card group and this time Di was our leader and these are the two cards we made
Im not too happy with my colouring on the first card but we didn't know that was what we were doing so only had the colouring pencils Di provided foe us to use.
The second card still needs a greeting adding but I'm waiting until I decide what I will use the card for to add that

This year is certainly flying by and summer is almost over here in the UK and we are starting to head into Autumn. A new month means its time for the postcard swap over at Chocolate Baroque so here are the post cards I have made for September. The colour for this mont is Blue and the flower is Aster, now I don't have an aster stamp so I've just gone with the blue theme this time.

Our youngest daughter is being bridesmaid to her best friend on Saturday and she asked me to make her a card to give the Bride and Groom. I made two as I wasn't quite sure what she wanted .

Well it's another month and that means it's time for our next Post Card swap over on the Chocolate Baroque Ning site. You can check it out via the link in my side bar. This month the colour is Orange and the flower is Poppies. I have some poppy stamps so I was able to combine both of these together when making my post cards.
